Dr. Juarez-Uribe earned his medical degree at UNAM, completed Internal Medicine training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine.
His work in the local medical community included 10 years as Chief of Cardiology at Paradise Valley Hospital. In 1987, he co-founded the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Sharp Chula Vista, where he also held cardiology leadership roles.
